Installing Debian Etch 2

I assume that your server has a newly installed hard drive in this tutorial.

Choose the All files in one partition.

Choose the last option in the menu.

Then choose YES

Set your root password

You need to type the root password twice to verify.

Set your username and password

This will start the installation process

Choose NO since you only need to install the minimal system.

Choose the Standard system

then choose YES to install GRUB boot loader in master boot record.

Your Debian Etch server is completely installed, reboot your server and configure.
