Really the driver is too bad, the video gets pixelated in full screen mode.
Small Linux native Games(open arena,nexuiz) run at very very low fps.
If you install fglrx,Graphics are not enabled for all cards(ex:mine is onboard 200 radeon series)
When the ATI itself is unable to produce a proper driver,why doesn't it open up its drivers??
Its better to install driver through an application called ENVY (google out ,available in hardy repositories).
Video issue gets solved,but still very low fps problem remains unfixed.
When ATI says no to my FREEDOM , I SAY NO TO ATI.
